Regional annexes for certifying administrative documents were put into service in three states – Algerian Al-Hiwar newspaper

The Minister of the Interior, Local Governments and Transport, Al-Saeed Saioud, announced the launch of the regional annexes affiliated with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the National Community Abroad and African Affairs, which are specialized in certifying administrative documents intended for use abroad.

During his visit to the state of Ouargla, the minister explained that the first phase of the project includes opening regional annexes in Ouargla, Constantine and Oran, with the possibility of gradually expanding the initiative to other states according to the needs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, stressing the readiness of his ministry’s interests to accompany this process and ensure its success.

The Minister pointed out that these annexes operate under regulatory supervision that ensures efficient provision of services, as they have been equipped by the concerned states with all necessary material and logistical means, including headquarters and necessary technical equipment, while the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is responsible for providing qualified human resources to ensure the good functioning of services and direct interaction with citizens.

Saeed stressed that this project constitutes a new building block in cooperation between the various ministerial sectors, and represents the beginning of future projects aimed at strengthening administrative services and simplifying procedures, thus consecrating the principle of equality in the provision of public service.

The Minister also indicated that the challenges associated with data protection and cybersecurity remain among the most prominent concerns that are being addressed, stressing that what has been put into service today, in terms of regional annexes and digital projects, is an essential step towards building a modern and effective public administration, capable of responding to the aspirations of citizens inside and outside the country.
