Rain floods homes and shops in these states – New Algeria

Civil protection agents intervened, starting at midnight, in several incidents as a result of bad weather conditions, and significant amounts of rain falling in the states of Algiers and Tipaza.

According to a statement by the General Directorate of Civil Protection, its agents intervened in the municipality of Hajout in Tipaza to absorb rainwater in front of the entrance to 10 commercial stores in the February 18th district, and in the municipality of Qalaia, they intervened to absorb rainwater from inside two houses in the Kassarli neighborhood and to remove and transport a family of four individuals following the leakage of Wadi Mazfaran water to the house on National Road No. 67 in the direction of Berbissa.

In Algiers, civil protection services intervened in the municipality of Bir Touta due to a palm tree falling on electrical wires in front of the department’s headquarters.

The Municipality of Al-Qubba intervened after a palm tree fell on the road adjacent to Al-Atiq Mosque in Al-Qubba.

In the municipality of Wadi Quraish, protection agents intervened after a tree fell on a tourist car in the Boushishi Brothers neighborhood, without recording any human casualties, and in the municipality of Bologhin, after the soil drifted in front of a building, causing a partial closure of the entrance to the residence in the 192 consulate district of Zaghara.

In the municipality of Bourouba, due to the partial collapse of a balcony following the fall of stones from an old building on 31 Saud Ashour Street.
