Putin congratulates Mojtaba Khamenei on assuming the presidency of Iran – Algerian Al-Hiwar newspaper

The Kremlin announced on Monday that Russian President Vladimir Putin sent a congratulatory message to Mojtaba Khamenei on the occasion of his selection as the new guide of Iran.

Putin expressed his confidence that Khamenei will continue his father’s path with honor, and will unite the Iranian people in facing difficult challenges.

The Russian President also stressed that his country will continue to stand by Tehran, stressing Russia’s firm support and solidarity with the Iranian people.
