Presidential decree…creating the “President of the Republic Award for the Best Emerging Enterprise” – New Algeria

The President of the Republic signed Presidential Decree No. 26-86 dated January 19, 2026, establishing the “President of the Republic Award for the Best Emerging Enterprise.”

The award aims, within the framework of encouraging innovation and entrepreneurship and promoting and developing the knowledge economy and emerging institutions, to reward each of the categories that achieve the best solutions or services related to innovation and modern technologies.

This concerns the best accelerated institution, which is the institution that received the “accelerated institution” label and which recorded high growth in its turnover during the last three (3) years.

The best emerging enterprise is the enterprise that received the “Emerging Enterprise” mark, which launched the best innovative product or service in the market and achieved high growth in the market, in addition to the best innovative project, which is the project that obtained the “Innovative Project” mark, which proposed the best innovative product or service with high growth potential in the market.

The award consists of granting the first winner, in each of the three categories, a certificate of appreciation and a financial reward, the amount of which is set at three million dinars for the best accelerated enterprise, two million dinars for the best emerging enterprise, and one million dinars for the best innovative project.

In the case of award-winning achievements and collective works, for the Best Innovative Project category, the award amount is distributed equally among the participants in this project, and the award is awarded by an independent jury.
