President Tebboune: The trans-Saharan gas pipeline project will be launched after Ramadan – New Algeria

The President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, confirmed today, Monday, that the visit of the President of the Republic of Niger, Head of State, Lieutenant General Abderrahmane Tiani, to Algeria, raised the ceiling of brotherhood and friendship between the two brotherly countries, and also ended an abnormal phase in bilateral relations.

The President of the Republic pointed out that “it was agreed to launch the project to complete the trans-Saharan gas pipeline across Nigerien territory after the holy month of Ramadan, when Sonatrach will take the reins and begin laying the pipeline that passes through Niger.”
