President Tebboune stresses the importance of strengthening the role of women in the national project – New Algeria

Confirm presidentAbdelmadjid Tebboune, yesterday, Saturday, said that Algeria is moving, at this stage, to devote the right of women to fully integrate into the current transformation movement towards building the modern state and strengthening their role in the national project.

And in a message on the occasion of the revival International Women’s DayThe President of the Republic addressed Algerian women, saying: “Algeria is proud of you and is moving, at this stage, to devote women’s right to full integration into the movement of current transformations towards building the modern state.”

The President of the Republic added, saying: “You are celebrating International Women’s Day on this eighth of March in a new and victorious Algeria, and you share with the women of the world the perpetuation of women’s liberation struggles. In this blessed country, you are descendants of resistance fighters, martyrs and fighters whose lives have been distinguished and whose memory extends across the horizons as a symbol of the spirit of sacrifice in order for the homeland to live.”

After stating that Algeria is a true citizen state that will be built through the integration of women into all the programs that we have initiated,” the President of the Republic pointed out that “the doors have been opened wide in order to enhance the role of women in the national project, especially through their assuming the highest responsibilities, jobs and ranks.”

The President of the Republic pointed out that “today Algerian women record the highest presence in the government since independence, in elected councils, constitutional institutions, regulatory bodies, and all areas of economic activity,” reiterating his great keenness to follow up on his directives to the government in order to “promote women’s empowerment and achieve the constitutionally enshrined principle of parity.”

The President of the Republic concluded by expressing his pride and satisfaction at what “the daughters of this redeemed nation have achieved in terms of creativity, innovation, and excellence in thought, culture, art, and sports.” He also expressed “the Algerian people’s pride in the preservation of women in our country over our cultural heritage and the ancient, authentic traditions of our society, which are guarded by nannies and educators for the rising generations in school and within the Algerian family.”
