Pre-integration training conditions for education employees…the Ministry of Education clarifies! – New Algeria

Today, Thursday, the Ministry of National Education issued an explanatory statement with the aim of removing confusion regarding the nature of training before programmed integration for the benefit of some categories of education sector employees, against the backdrop of the circulation of inaccurate information through social media sites and some union pages.
The Ministry confirmed in its statement that this training is a mandatory legal requirement aimed at accelerating the settlement of the administrative status of the professors concerned, and enabling them to be integrated into their new ranks as soon as possible, ensuring that they benefit from salary increases and privileges associated with professional promotion.
The Ministry indicated that the training was programmed on Saturday of every week for a period of four months, with a total hourly volume estimated at 80 hours, which is the minimum legally approved and agreed upon with the General Directorate of Public Service and Administrative Reform, in order to achieve the desired pedagogical goals of the process.
Within the framework of taking into account the privacy of the holy month of Ramadan, the Ministry decided to conduct practical training within the educational institutions in which the concerned professors carry out their duties, in a way that ensures flexibility of organization and continuity of educational performance without disturbing the good conduct of the institutions.
In the same context, the Ministry explained that the training program was prepared in accordance with the requirements of the new ranks to be integrated into, and takes into account the professional knowledge and competencies that must be available, stressing that enabling professors to benefit from the benefits associated with the new rank will take place immediately after the successful completion of the training.
Regarding the field of primary education teachers, the Ministry clarified that broad categories are not concerned with training, including registered or trainee teachers who have less than four years of actual service until December 31, 2024, in addition to primary school teachers who hold university degrees or have significant professional seniority. On the other hand, the training includes professors whose seniority ranges between four and less than seven years, with the aim of integrating them into the higher ranks in accordance with the applicable laws.
As for the middle school teacher corps, the Ministry of Education stated that the same organizational rules adopted in the primary stage apply, with different job titles, as the training is concerned with teachers whose seniority ranges between four and less than seven years, in preparation for their integration into the higher ranks.
As for the secondary education teacher corps, the Ministry indicated that the process is subject to the same methodology, and includes professors at various ranks (professor, main professor, full professor) who meet the specified seniority requirement, with the aim of promoting them and integrating them into higher ranks.
At the conclusion of its statement, the Ministry of National Education reiterated its commitment to transparency and accuracy in handling integration and promotion files, calling on all sector employees to rely on approved official sources and avoid being led by unconfirmed information circulating through social media platforms.
