Political parties appreciate the content of the President of the Republic’s speech

Many political parties appreciated the content of the speech addressed to the nation by the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, on Tuesday, before members of Parliament in both chambers, and the strong messages it carried, clarity in positions, and realism in presentation.

In this regard, the Algeria Rally of Hope party, “TAJ,” noted the content of the speech, which included “an accurate diagnosis of the national situation and a clear vision for strengthening the path of political, economic, and social reforms.”

The party considered that the President of the Republic’s commitment to consecrating the rule of law, strengthening democratic practice, and consolidating social justice reflects “a sincere desire to build a strong Algeria with its institutions, cohesive on its internal front, and capable of confronting the accelerating regional and international challenges.”

He also appreciated the President of the Republic’s confirmation, once again, of his commitment to opening a national dialogue with political parties, which highlights “the pivotal role of political parties in framing society.”

Among the parties that presented the speech, the People’s Voice Party believes that the President of the Republic’s speech included “a frank diagnosis of the nation’s reality and a comprehensive vision of the various political, economic and social challenges, in light of a very complex regional and international situation,” noting the speech’s emphasis on “the continuity of the Algerian state’s approach to its social character as a stable sovereign choice stemming from the November 1st Declaration and the principles of the glorious liberation revolution.”

For its part, the Ennahdha Movement considered that the President of the Republic’s presentation of the outcome of the reform process before the two chambers of Parliament is “a step on the right path to consecrating the role of the legislative authority and embodying the concept of the multiplicity of powers, their separation and their integration.”

The movement also praised the President of the Republic’s commitment to opening a political dialogue with political parties, stressing that this path “is of great importance, as long as the dialogue is serious, comprehensive, honest and effective, leading to expanding the political partnership and strengthening confidence among the various actors.”

Regarding the social aspect, the movement recorded its agreement with what the President of the Republic indicated regarding restoring the status of the middle class as a basic pillar of social cohesion and societal stability, considering that “pushing the economic wheel forward, supporting investment, and reviving the national industry can only be achieved by ensuring that its results are reflected in the purchasing power of citizens.”

For its part, the Al Karama Party indicated that the President of the Republic’s speech before Parliament came “in a very sensitive national and regional context that imposes the consolidation of the state’s logic and the strengthening of the internal front,” appreciating what was included in the speech regarding “the institutional approach to managing public affairs and restoring the dignity of constitutional institutions, led by Parliament, by activating its legislative powers.”

In the same context, the National Struggle Front registered its satisfaction with the content of the President of the Republic’s speech, which “was characterized by a high degree of responsibility, clarity, and frankness, and reflected a good political practice of imitating direct communication with representatives of the people,” noting the contents it contained that included “accurate data and a comprehensive vision that highlights a clear interest from the President in strengthening constitutional institutions, enhancing the role of the legislative authority, and respecting the balance between powers.”
