Zimbabwean Parliament Speaker Jacob Mubinda and his accompanying delegation left Algeria today, Friday. He was seen off at Algiers International Airport, Houari Boumediene, by the two deputy speakers of the parliament, Mr. Nasser Bteish and Waheed Al-Sayed Al-Sheikh.

The Speaker of the Zimbabwean Parliament was on an official visit from April 29 to today at the invitation of his counterpart, Ibrahim Bougali, Speaker of the National People’s Assembly, in the context of consolidating the distinguished relations between the two chambers, which reflect the deep-rooted friendship ties between Algeria and Zimbabwe.

The visit was an opportunity to strengthen the excellent relations that have brought the two countries together for decades. It was also an opportunity to discuss and study mechanisms for promoting joint cooperation in various fields and to exert more efforts to raise it to the level of good bilateral relations.

During the visit, the Speaker of the Zimbabwean Parliament held many talks, the most important of which was what took place in his meeting with the President of the Republic, Abdel Majidtboun, after meeting with the heads of both chambers of Parliament, as well as the Chairman of the Foreign Affairs, Cooperation and Diaspora Committee of the National People’s Assembly, and the heads of the Education and Health Committee.

Mudinda, after being received by the President of the Republic, stressed the need to raise the level of political relations and economic partnership between the two countries, adding that President Tebboune assured him of his continued support for the Zimbabwean people.

The Speaker of the Zimbabwean Parliament indicated that the President of the Republic assured him in the same context that Algeria is ready to work with the Republic of Zimbabwe, especially in the sectors of education and economy.

Mudinda had many meetings with senior officials in the state, such as the Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Minister of Energy and Mines, the Minister of Environment and Renewable Energies, the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, the Minister of Trade and Export Promotion and the Minister of Youth and Sports, during which they touched on the various files of cooperation between the two countries related to sectors and ways. develop and enhance it.

The visit was also an opportunity for Mr. Mudinda and his accompanying delegation to visit the city of #Blida and the city of #Tipaza to introduce the industrial, agricultural and tourism capabilities of the two states and introduce the economic dealers within the framework of the President of the Republic’s endeavors to achieve comprehensive economic development and the advancement of the national economy and the promotion of trade and economic exchange and sweeping the African market.

Mudinda, with the Zimbabwean delegation, examined several industrial and agricultural facilities as well as tourist attractions in order to raise the level of bilateral relations, economic partnership and other areas that bring the two countries together.

The Zimbabwean delegation also met with Zimbabwean students who are studying at Blida 1 and Blida 2 universities.
