Petkovic reveals an update on the health status of the duo, Sharqi and Hijam – Al-Hiwar Algerian newspaper

The national voter, Vladimir Petkovic, confirmed during the press conference following the national team’s match against Equatorial Guinea that there is no accurate data regarding the health condition of the duo, Sharqi and Hajam, at the present time.

Petkovic said in this context: “We cannot provide information regarding the injury of the duo, Sharqi and Hijam, except that I confirm that we will continue working and preparing for the match between the Democratic Republic of Congo.”

Regarding the performance of his players in the match, the national voter explained: “In today’s match, I thought that the players would enter the confrontation with difficulty, but things went well. I asked them to continue working and conduct the match well, and all the players followed the instructions.”

Petkovic also reassured the fans regarding the injury of defender Mohamed Emin Tugay, as he stated: “Togay’s injury is not serious. He felt some pain, and he was the one who asked to stop. We will give him the necessary rest and we will recover him in the coming days.”

The national team continues its preparations in anticipation of facing the Democratic Republic of the Congo, within the framework of the knockout stages of the African Cup of Nations competition.
