Petkovic raises the level of caution before confronting the Democratic Republic of Congo – Algerian Al-Hiwar newspaper

National voter, Vladimir Petkovic, stressed the difficulty of the task ahead for the Democratic Republic of Congo, which he considered to be one of the dangerous and organized teams.

The Swiss coach said that he followed Congo’s confrontation with Botswana, and came away with a clear impression of a team with a strong team structure and high tactical discipline, which requires Algeria to be extremely cautious.

Petkovic said during the press conference after the confrontation with Equatorial Guinea: “I saw a dangerous and well-organized team during its last match against Botswana.”

He continued: “We have to analyze the opponent’s strengths and weaknesses, and work to exploit them in the best possible way. We have between five to six days to prepare, and I am confident that the squad will arrive at the match in the best possible preparation.”

Coach Petkovic concluded by saying: “Such matches are decided by the details, and focus will be the most important factor.”
