Pazashkian: The government will adhere to the directives of Leader Mojtaba Khamenei in managing the next stage

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian confirmed that the message sent by Leader Mojtaba Khamenei yesterday outlined the features of the next stage and determined the country’s course in this fateful circumstance, stressing that state officials will adhere to its contents and directives. These statements come days after Mojtaba Khamenei was installed as Iran’s new supreme leader, according to recent reports.

Pezeshkian said that overcoming the current crisis is “possible and easy” with the government’s cooperation with the people, stressing that any policy related to the administration of the country or international relations will not be proposed by the government without coordination with the Supreme Leader.

He added that his government’s priority at this stage is to raise the readiness of the armed forces for comprehensive defense, in addition to organizing citizens’ affairs and confronting the repercussions of the current stage, expressing his confidence in the government’s ability to perform its duties with the support of the leadership.
