The livestock feeding units affiliated with the ONAB complex, in coordination with the National Livestock Nutrition Office (ONAB), have begun implementing a program to modernize feed formulations according to a precise scientific approach that responds to field requirements.
As part of its continuous efforts towards development, these amendments have resulted in: a noticeable increase in the rate of daily weight gain, an acceleration of the pace of growth, an improvement in the efficiency of feed conversion, a reduction in production costs, as well as a better uniformity in herd weights and an improvement in the quality of meat.
Positive results have been recorded in the field across all the fattening centers affiliated with the Onab Complex, and this process comes within the framework of supporting breeders, enhancing the competitiveness of national production, and actually contributing to achieving sustainable food security.
