Trump invites Erdogan to join the peace council charged with managing Gaza

The Turkish presidential office reported on Saturday that US President Donald Trump sent a letter to his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan, inviting him to join the “peace council” charged with supervising the interim administration of the Gaza Strip, in light of a fragile ceasefire that has been in effect since last October.
