The Minister of Housing, City and Urban Development, Mohamed Tarek Belaribi, confirmed that the next stage requires adopting new mechanisms to accelerate the completion of housing projects, highlighting that the citizen does not wait for any justification, but rather waits for tangible results on the ground.
The Ministry of Housing, City and Urban Development explained, in a statement, that under the supervision of the Minister of Housing, Mohamed Tarek Belaribi, a series of evaluation meetings dedicated to the local executives of the sector across the various states of the country were launched at the ministry’s headquarters, within the framework of a planned work program that includes 4 states daily.
These meetings fall within the context of strict periodic follow-up of the level of implementation of housing programs in their various forms, and public equipment projects, in addition to urban development operations across various states, and strengthening oversight and coordination mechanisms between the central administration and local departments, in a way that ensures accelerating the pace of completion and improving the effectiveness of field performance.
The meetings aim to conduct a comprehensive assessment of the outcome of achievement and determine the level of progress of the planned projects.
The Minister stressed that the next stage requires doubling field efforts, accelerating the pace of completion and respecting contractual deadlines, devoting digital sovereignty as a fundamental pillar in the sector’s strategy, fighting all forms of bureaucracy and administrative stagnation, improving the quality of delivery and ensuring the quality of projects, as well as enhancing coordination between central and local interests through the inclusion of new mechanisms.
As the Minister stated, the citizen does not wait for any justification, but rather waits for action, and does not measure performance by statements, but by tangible results on the ground.
