New measures to support poultry farmers before Ramadan – New Algeria

Today, a framework agreement was signed between the ONAB Complex and the National Federation of Poultry Breeders, at the headquarters of the General Directorate of the Food and Logistics Industries Complex (AGROLOG), with the aim of accompanying breeders and providing stable production conditions, according to a statement by the “ONAB” Complex.

The complex explained in its statement that these measures came to support your activity and ensure continuity of production before the month of Ramadan, and within the framework of the complex’s keenness to stabilize the national market and ensure the abundance of white meat at reasonable prices during this holy month.

The breeder will receive one-day-old chicks at a subsidized price of 80 DZD, in addition to providing them with the necessary feed for breeding according to the stages and at thoughtful and competitive prices, available in the feed production units of the “ONAB” complex.

Poultry breeders will also be provided with the necessary feed for breeding according to the stages, at studied and competitive prices, applied at the level of feed production units affiliated with the “ONAB” complex, while breeders can retrieve chicken production from the slaughterhouses affiliated with the “ONAB” complex at a specific price of 280 DZD/kg.

He added that breeders who have special units for fodder production benefit from providing raw materials, especially corn and soybean meal, according to their production needs.

In return, the “ONAP” complex provides raw materials, especially corn and soybean meal, according to the prices applied at the market level.

Feed intended for raising poultry is marketed according to the prices approved at the level of the complex’s production units.

In this context, the statement confirmed that AThe aim of these measures is to support the poultry breeding division, accompany breeders, ensure the abundance of the product, protect the purchasing power of the citizen, and contribute to the stability of the national market during the holy month of Ramadan.
