New explosions sounded in Tehran after Israeli-American raids – Algerian Al-Hiwar newspaper

Several explosions sounded on Sunday in Tehran, amid a US-Israeli attack, to which Iran responded with strikes on Israel and parts of the Gulf.

Explosions were heard in northern Tehran and smoke was seen rising from a building, but the nature of the target is not clear at present.

An explosion sent thick smoke over Tehran, and shook the ground. The purpose of the explosion was not immediately clear.

The Iranian Revolutionary Guard announced the start of a violent attack against Israel and American bases in the region, in response to the assassination of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.

A commander in the Iranian Revolutionary Guard told Fars Agency that the assassination of leaders in Iran “does not leave the slightest impact on the path of progress in this battle,” explaining that the structure of the Iranian regime is designed in a way that allows for the appointment of qualified people immediately after the killing of any of the leaders.

On the other hand, the American CBS News channel quoted unnamed intelligence and military sources that about 40 Iranian officials were killed in the ongoing American and Israeli raids on Iran since Saturday morning.
