Neighborhood markets in 69 states in anticipation of Ramadan – New Algeria

Launches a ministry commerce Interior and market control, neighborhood markets in 69 states, starting next week, simultaneously and a month Ramadan .

A statement from the Ministry revealed that Minister Amal Abdel Latif chaired yesterday, Monday, a coordination meeting with representatives of a number of heads and representatives of the Algerian Economic Renewal Council, the National Union of Public Contractors, the Algerian Beverage Producers Association, the National Confederation of Algerian Employers, the Contractors and Industrialists Club, the Algerian Confederation of Citizen Employers, along with the heads and directors of public economic complexes, in the presence of the Ministry’s frameworks and officials of bodies under guardianship. Dedicated to making final arrangements in anticipation of the holy month of Ramadan.

During the meeting – the same source adds – it was agreed on the active participation of economic operators and public complexes in the neighborhood markets, which are expected to be launched across 69 states starting next week, with the aim of bringing products closer to citizens and enhancing their availability, which contributes to market stability during this period.

In this context, the Minister appreciated the involvement of economic operators in initiatives to reduce prices on the occasion of the holy month, considering that these steps reflect a social responsibility and contribute to supporting market stability and enhancing the purchasing power of the citizen, according to the same source.
