During a qualitative operation, the National Security Services in Oran were able to overthrow a poison dealer active within a criminal drug trafficking network. The operation resulted in the seizure of approximately 9 kilograms of processed kif.
The Oran State Security statement stated, on Wednesday, that members of the Mobile Brigade of the Judicial Police BMPJ in Casablanca, Oran, in coordination with the video surveillance center, were able to overthrow a poison dealer, in his fourth decade, active within a criminal drug trafficking network. A person was arrested, and 8 kg and 800 grams of processed kif were seized.
The same authorities added that the suspect was in the process of transporting a quantity of drugs using a utility vehicle to cover his criminal activity, highlighting that this specific operation was based on information obtained in the field by members of the squad that there was a person in the specialized sector suspected of his activity.
The National Security Services highlighted that field and technical investigations made it possible to monitor his movements and suspicious activity. The suspect was using his store as a den to store poisons, and worked to transport them using a camouflage vehicle. The investigations initiated by the division’s investigators in coordination with the competent Republic Prosecutor’s Office regionally made it possible to determine his identity and whereabouts, and to arrest him.
The Oran police services reported that, after completing all the legal procedures approved by the Public Prosecutor at the Flaussen Court, the suspects were brought before the court under a judicial procedure, where a deposit order was issued against him, to look into the case.
