Works started Conference National Council on Modernization of Agriculture, today, Monday, which aims to set strategic directions and practical measures that would make the sector an engine For economic growth.
The conference, organized by the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development and Fisheries, will take place on October 27 and 28 at the International Conference Center “Abdellatif Rahal”, under the supervision of the Minister of the Sector, Yassine Mahdi Walid, in the presence of members of the government, the President of the Economic, Social and Environmental Council, Mohamed Bukhari, and the Director General of Customs, Abdel Hafid Bakhoush.
The conference is attended by officials from economic and financial bodies and institutions, representatives of international organizations, as well as national and foreign experts specialized in the agricultural field.
During the conference, several workshops will be organized that address topics related to intensifying and improving production in strategic areas, sustainable management of agricultural water resources, as well as modernization through mechanization and smart agriculture, in addition to financing, agricultural insurance, and social coverage.
The development of the agricultural population and the organization of markets to achieve a balance between supply and demand will be addressed,digital transformation Establishing a comprehensive agricultural information system, clarifying and organizing the real estate situation of agricultural investments, institutional reform and modernizing the governance of the sector.
