The Speaker of the National Assembly, Azouz Nasseri, praised, Thursday, the policies adopted by the President of the Republic, Abdul Majeed Taboun, to extend the state of right and law in new and victorious Algeria that ensures guarantee and protect rights and freedoms.
During a speech delivered at the conclusion of a public session in the National Assembly dedicated to approving the text of the two organic laws related to the regulation of the Court of Conflict and Prevention of Drugs and Mental effects, Nasseri praised the policies adopted by the President of the Republic to extend the state of right and law in the new and victorious Algeria that ensures guarantee and protection of rights and freedoms.
He stressed that this matter is “manifested in the Constitution of Al -Fateh from November 2020, which is aimed at achieving national legal security by assigning the state to ensure the status of legislation related to rights and freedoms, ensuring access, reaching and approving it,” noting that “the legal amendment related to the conflict court falls in this context.”
He added that the text of the law related to the prevention of drugs, mental effects, suppression of illegal use and illegal trafficking is a “embodiment of the President’s initiatives, including strengthening the legal arsenal to combat drugs and raise awareness of its risks and provide treatment and rehabilitation programs for addicts, as well as enhancing international cooperation to confront this scourge.”
In this regard, he stressed “the importance of the family, education and psychological pillars, given its prominent role in preventing these toxins.”
At the end of his speech, he also mentioned the relevant work that members of the National People’s Army are doing with other security wires in combating drug trafficking and protecting the homeland and citizens.
For his part, the Minister of Justice Hafez Al -Khamam, Lotfi Boujemaa, highlighted the importance of ratifying the text of the law related to the regulation of the conflict court, its functioning and its competencies, which – as he said – said – “Improving the performance of the conflict court and simplifying procedures on the litigant in accordance with the new rulings on the text, and also allows the litigant to file his claim to use electronic means and spare him the hassle of moving to long distances, and this is an embodiment of the heads of the main The Republic aims to benefit from the merits of digitization in all fields.
Regarding the legal text related to the prevention of drugs and psychotropic substances, the minister pointed out that the importance that this text is represented in “the new approach to the prevention of the scourge of drugs and mental effects, as a balance between the deterrent preventive and treatment measures,” adding that this text guarantees “new provisions that constitute a comprehensive, integrated and multi -dimensional legal system to address this crime.”
It is noteworthy that the approval session of the two legal texts took place in the presence of the Minister of Relations with Parliament, Kawthar Krico.
