Speaker of the National Assembly, Azouz Nasseri, praised the Council of Ministers’ outcomes that consolidate the social character of the state and enhance the protection of various social groups.
In a tweet by Azouz Nasri, Speaker of the National Assembly, published on Sunday evening, he praised the outputs of the Council of Ministers and the decisions of the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, in which he said, “We value the important decisions announced by the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, during the Council of Ministers meeting, which consecrate the social character of the state and enhance the protection of various social groups, in order to establish the principle of fair distribution of wealth between the regions of the country, and to deepen trust between the state and the citizen.”
The Council of Ministers approved increases of 10 percent for retirees who earn less than or equal to 20 thousand dinars, and 5 percent for retirees who earn more than 20 thousand dinars, knowing that these increases were preceded by increases before that, which touched the guaranteed minimum wage.
The Council of Ministers also approved the creation of two administrative provinces, for Maghnia and El Alma.
The President of the Republic also stressed that electronic commerce is a major challenge, requiring everyone’s participation to achieve this economic goal, using the necessary means, especially ensuring digital security, approving more facilities, and encouraging trade in this direction.
He also stressed that commercial transparency is the first goal and the true fruit of digitization and trade.
In the context of Akhadkhar, the President prevented the implementation of any demolition operations of illegal housing in the winter, with the immediate arrest of mayors, who resort to this arbitrary measure in the depths of winter, without taking into account the applicable Algerian laws and international norms, and that the governors of the Republic ensure that such operations are carried out in accordance with specific legal frameworks.
He also ordered the Ministers of Agriculture and Interior, to coordinate and ensure, in accordance with various necessary mechanisms and procedures, that farmers do not incur losses, arising from the recession of some agricultural crops, by resorting to storage aimed at maintaining price stability.
