On the eve of the first day of Ramadan, the Minister of National Solidarity, Family and Women’s Issues, Soria Moulouji, made a surprise inspection visit to the nursing home in Sidi Moussa, during which she examined the extent to which the program plan that had been prepared for this occasion was implemented.
The same source explained that “as part of the ongoing field follow-up to monitor the reality of social care institutions, and as an embodiment of the Ministry’s keenness to improve the quality of care and services,” the Minister of National Solidarity, Family and Women’s Issues, on the eve of the first day of the holy month of Ramadan, made a surprise inspection visit to the nursing home in Sidi Moussa, “during which she was briefed on the progress of work within the institution and saw the extent to which the program plan that had been prepared specifically for this occasion was being implemented.”
In this context, Moulouji toured the institution’s shelter and medical services facilities and all service spaces, where she examined the level of regular health care, psychological and social accompaniment, and the arrangements for preparing and organizing individual and group iftar meals. She also listened to the explanations of the administrative, educational, and medical staff about the mechanisms for implementing the Ramadan program.
At the conclusion of the visit, the Minister issued a set of instructions, through which she stressed “the necessity of deepening the human dimension in various activities during the month of Ramadan, by creating a warm family atmosphere and intensifying promotional programs,” the same source added.
After highlighting the need to ensure the assistance of specialists in the field to develop pedagogical entertainment programs directed at the elderly group, Mulji stressed the importance of “adopting participatory approaches that involve residents in designing and implementing activities, in a way that enhances their sense of effectiveness,” while insisting on supporting spiritual activities and properly organizing Ramadan evenings, as “spaces for rebuilding human ties and promoting positive interaction.”
This visit – according to the statement – embodies “the sector’s keenness to enhance continuous field follow-up and raise the quality of services provided to residents.”
In this context, the Minister had issued instructions at the central level, stipulating the establishment of an intensive program of sudden field inspection trips across the national territory throughout the holy month of Ramadan, with a careful evaluation of all aspects undertaken, ensuring “full compliance with the specified standards of care and services, and an immediate response to the concerns and needs of the beneficiaries,” as the same source indicated.
