Mouloudia Algiers coach calls for turning the page on the Champions League – New Algeria

Mokoena admitted that his opponent deserved to win in yesterday’s confrontation, when he said: “Congratulations to Sun Downs. They were the best in the match, and they deserve to win. I wish them the best in the rest of the journey.”
He added: “I think that the exclusion is not only due to this loss. We lost some points in the previous rounds, such as what happened to us against Al Hilal in Rwanda, and in our stadium against Sun Downs.”
He continued: “I think this is what made the difference in the issue of qualification. We lost points, as also happened in our match against Lupopo in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, but this is football.”
It is worth noting that the second representative of Algeria in the CAF Champions League, JS Kabylie, was also eliminated from the group stage, while USM Alger and CS Belouizdad qualified for the quarter-finals of the CAF Confederation Cup.
