More than 12 thousand Algerians received orders to leave the European Union – the new Algeria

More than 12,000 Algerians have received orders to leave the European Union during the third quarter of the current year 2025, according to what was recently revealed by the European statistical authority Eurostat.

The same body also said that this number of Algerians receiving orders to leave all European countries does not mean that they are the groups most subjected to the implementation of these measures, as Turkish citizens were the most foreigners who were actually deported from the territories of European countries, at 3,625 people, followed by other numbers of citizens of Georgia and Albania.

Citizens of Moroccan nationality received the second largest number of orders to leave the European Union during the same period, according to the European Statistics Authority, which also indicated that 6,670 citizens of the Kingdom of Morocco received such orders during the same period referred to.

Eurostat also said that during the same period referred to, the European Union issued more than 115,000 departure orders from countries that fall under this continental bloc, noting that less than a third of these departure orders, meaning about 34,000, were implemented on the ground.

The same European statistical authority recorded that this total number of departure orders issued by the European Union during the third quarter of the current year 2025 represents an increase of 2.7 percent compared to the same period of last year 2024, while the deportations that were carried out during the third quarter of the year 2025 represent an increase of more than 14 percent compared to the same period of last year 2024.

The same body also added that France was the European country that issued the most orders to leave the region during the third trimester of the current year 2025, with more than 33,000 orders issued in this context. This is the period that witnessed the presence of the neoconservative leader, known for his hard-line stances on immigration, Bruno Rotayo as Minister of the Interior before he was replaced by a new Minister of the Interior (former Paris Police Commander Laurent Nunez) in the government of Sebastien Lecornu.

France also came as the second European country to implement deportation orders during the same period, as it returned 3,760 foreign citizens to their countries of origin over the third quarter of 2025, according to the European Statistical Authority, Eurostat.
