Minister of Solidarity: A financial cover of 1,470 billion dinars for the Ramadan grant – New Algeria

The Minister of National Solidarity, Family and Women’s Issues, Dr. Soria Moulouji announced the allocation of more than 1,470 billion dinars as the sector’s contribution to the financial envelope directed to the Ramadan grant, which is carried out in coordination with local authorities. Confirming that all preparations are underway to accompany the family to spend the month of Ramadan in the best conditions.

A statement from the ministry, today, Saturday, explained that this came during the participation of the Minister of National Solidarity, Family, and Women’s Issues, Dr. Soria Mulji, in the activities of launching the national campaign to reduce waste and rationalize consumption, organized by the Ministry of Internal Trade and National Market Control, in coordination with the Ministry of Environment and Quality of Life, at the Central Post Office Square in the capital.

According to the same statement, this participation falls within the framework of the National Solidarity Sector’s contribution to governmental efforts aimed at raising community awareness of the importance of rationalizing consumption, especially during the holy month of Ramadan, and in confirmation of the continuation of the ongoing national awareness-raising campaign that the Ministry initiated since January 15, which extends until the end of the month of Ramadan, aiming to avoid manifestations of waste and extravagance and to establish balanced consumer behaviors.

By the way, Minister Mulji confirmed that the Ministry is engaging in the solidarity economy policy by including productive families in neighborhood markets that are organized in coordination with local authorities and relevant sectors, and that the number of families that will participate this year is approximately 900 productive families.

Regarding the sector’s support of associations and civil society, in general, it confirmed that approximately 2,200 licenses were granted to open Al-Rahma restaurants.

According to the same statement, preparations are underway for the fourth edition of the national competition for memorizing, reciting and reciting the Holy Qur’an for the benefit of people of determination and vulnerable children, in coordination with the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Endowments and public television.
