Minister of Justice at the Higher Judicial School of Kolea – New Algeria

Ashraf, Minister of Justice, Keeper of Seals, Lotfi Boujemaaaccompanied by the Secretary-General of the High Prefecture of the Amazigh Language, Hashemi Assad, at the opening ceremony of the school day organized on the topic “The Amazigh language in the national justice system: Towards consecrating the Amazigh language in judicial and professional practice,” at the Higher School of the Judiciary – Kolea, Tipaza Province.

And just Statement from the MinistryThe organization of this school day comes in partnership between the Ministry of Justice and the High Prefecture of the Amazigh Language, within the framework of commemorating the International Mother Language Day, and an embodiment of the state’s commitment to promoting the Amazigh language and strengthening its position in the various institutions of the Republic.

An elite group of academics and specialized professors participated in this study day, along with judges, experts, translators and executives from both sectors, ensuring the enrichment of discussion and exchange of experiences.

This study day addressed a number of basic topics, most notably the constitutional and legal framework for linguistic justice, and the role of judicial translation as a mechanism to ensure fair trial conditions, in addition to presenting field experiences and practical challenges associated with the use of translation during judicial sessions.
