Yesterday evening, Thursday, 45 Palestinian children and 6 wounded Algerians, in addition to their companions, arrived at Boufarik Airport Military personnel, arriving from Cairo Airport in Egypt, on board two medically equipped aircraft belonging to the Algerian Air Force, in order to take care of them at the level of military hospitals and army clubs in Algeria, in implementation of the initiative of the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune.

The wounded children were received by a government team that included the Minister of Health, Mr. Abdelhak Sayhi, the Minister of National Solidarity, Family, and Women’s Issues, Ms. Kawthar Kriko, and the Minister of Mujahideen and Rights Defenders, Mr. Eid Rabeka, along with the Ambassador of the State of Palestine to Algeria, Mr. Fayez Abu Aita, and the President of the Algerian Red Crescent, Ms. Ibtisam. Hamlawy.

The Minister of Solidarity confirmed that “Algerian solidarity with the Palestinian people is an innate trait, and today we are witnessing the first batches to care for the wounded and injured Palestinians from the Gaza Strip, in implementation of the instructions of the President of the Republic.”

For his part, the Minister of Health stressed that the process of evacuating these injured Palestinians reflects Algeria’s solidarity with the Palestinian cause and its people since time immemorial, and perhaps the best evidence of this is what it presented recently at the United Nations, indicating that all preparations to care for these patients have been well prepared, both from a medical standpoint and Technical or logistical.

The Minister of Mujahideen also stated that Algeria is receiving today the injured members of the brotherly Palestinian people, in implementation of the instructions of the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, where they will be taken care of in all aspects, especially health, and the Algerian state has provided all the capabilities for this.

For her part, the President of the Algerian Crescent, Ibtissam Hamlaoui, explained that 46 wounded people and 67 companions were evacuated, their injuries ranging from moderate to serious, as they will be taken care of by the Military Health in Algeria, praising, on the occasion, the great efforts made by the Air Force to deliver them via equipped medical planes.

Hamlawi indicated that other evacuation payments will be made later and at the same time, “We will continue to provide our Palestinian brothers in Gaza with humanitarian aid, noting that today, Friday, the air bridge will be extended in this context.”

Regarding the reaction of the injured after their arrival in Algeria, Mrs. Hamlawi said: “Perhaps one of the stories that history will write is that of the mother whose son was seriously injured and said that she wanted him to be transported to Algeria, and if God decreed that he was martyred, he would be buried in the land of Algeria.”

On the airport floor, which was crowded with ambulances transporting the injured, an atmosphere prevailed in which sadness was mixed with joy, sadness at what the situation of these innocent souls had become as a result of the barbarism of the Zionist entity, which was based on oppression and whose daily culture had become the violation of human rights in the occupied territories.

On the other hand, the souls of the injured Palestinians and their families rejoiced, after their arrival to the land of Algeria, which has always tirelessly embraced the just Palestinian cause and advocated from international platforms for the sake of empowering the Palestinian people to freedom and establishing their independent state with its capital, Al-Quds Al-Sharif.

(Waj) obtained from the site, testimonies from a number of Palestinian children and others from their families, where the child Khaled Shukri expressed his pain and tragedies in Gaza after he lost everything in Bureij in Gaza, where he lived, as a result of his family’s home being subjected to a Zionist bombing at night, as a result of which he was also injured. His brother was seriously injured.

Khaled says that despite the security he feels after arriving in Algeria, he still has fear about his family in Gaza as the Zionist bombing of the Strip continues.

Farah Shadi Saleh, from Fallujah, Jabalia, also narrated how her family’s home was bombed, where most of its members were seriously injured, and she suffered a skull fracture, as a result of which she fell into a coma for a month.

In addition to those injured as a result of the bombing, those coming from Gaza included those with incurable diseases, who now face the risk of death after medicine ran out and most Gaza hospitals went out of service.

Inside the ambulance, Samia Hamdan Al-Shaer, a resident of Rafah in Gaza, also narrated her suffering with cancer and the suffering of her two daughters, one of whom suffers from diabetes, the complications of which increased after the start of the Zionist aggression on the Gaza Strip last weeks of October.

Nahed Abdel Ati, from the central region of Gaza, is also a picture of the barbarism of the Zionist occupation and a victim of its crimes against the Palestinians. More than a month ago, she suffered a fracture in her pelvis and spine, and her two daughters were injured in the bombing that their house was subjected to.

initiative The President of the Republic to sponsor 450 Palestinian children

As a reminder, you are aiming for an initiative President of the Republic To take care of 450 injured Palestinian children in order to receive treatment for the wounds and effects of the barbaric Zionist bombing, which targeted Palestinian civilians in the Gaza Strip.

In this context, all capabilities and means have been provided for the success of this humanitarian operation, which will be followed by subsequent evacuation operations for the benefit of other categories of wounded and injured, especially amputees, which clearly expresses Algeria’s unconditional solidarity towards the brotherly Palestinian people in their plight. .

On the other hand, Algeria continues to make diligent efforts to undertake the evacuation of Algerian nationals stranded in the Gaza Strip, despite the difficulties and obstacles that this process faces, in cooperation with the Egyptian authorities, the Palestinian Red Crescent, and the International Committee of the Red Cross. In parallel, Algeria made a large solidarity donation, preparing an air fleet to provide humanitarian aid to those stranded in Gaza in order to alleviate their suffering, noting that the operation is continuing and will be followed, next week, by sending additional humanitarian aid.
