Maintaining national memory is a collective responsibility

The Speaker of the National Assembly, Azouz Nasseri, confirmed on Monday that preserving the national memory is a collective responsibility, and that the new Algeria whose pillars are Abdel Majid Taboun, President of the Republic, assumed this file as a strategic position.

This came, upon receiving the headquarters of the Council, a group of Mujahideen and Mujahideen, in a friendly meeting coincided with the revival of the National People’s Army Day, the descendant of the National Liberation Army, according to a statement of the National Assembly.

Nasseri said that this was embodied in a number of initiatives aimed at preserving history and transferring it to generations, dedicating the eighth of May a day to memory, and launching a television channel specialized in history.

During the meeting, the Speaker of the National Assembly welcomed his esteemed guests, recalling the great sacrifices made by the victorious November generation in order to liberate the country from the yoke of brutal colonialism, stressing that these sacrifices will remain a beacon guided by successive generations in order to preserve national sovereignty and enhance the components of the modern Algerian state.

The Speaker of the National Assembly also valued the involvement of the Mujahideen and Mujahideen in this national dynamic, stressing that the National Assembly remains a comprehensive space for all initiatives aimed at strengthening the unity of the national ranks and sent the spirit of November in the path of building strong Algeria, democracy and prosperity.

For their part, the Mujahideen and the Mujahideen expressed their pride in the care that the President of the Republic, Abdul Majeed Taboun, attaches to the file of national memory, renewing the covenant to contribute to educating generations and preserving the message, and assuring their support for all initiatives that serve the country and perpetuate national sovereignty in various fields.

At the end of the meeting, the Speaker of the National Assembly renewed the affirmation of the Algerian state’s adherence to its national principles and strategic options, stressing that the current stage calls for strengthening national cohesion and joining all efforts to confront the current challenges in light of regional and international transformations.
