Logitrans: Supporting the logistics sector and land transport of goods – New Algeria

The visit came in implementation of the directives of the Minister of Interior, Local Communities, Urban Development and Transport. Within the framework of the national program of periodic inspection visits to the Logitrans land transport complex for goods and logistics across the various states of the country.

A meeting was held with the governor of the state, where they discussed ways to develop the complex’s activities in the region and enhance its role in supporting the logistics sector and land transportation of goods. The governor confirmed the readiness of the local authorities to provide the necessary administrative facilities to accompany the complex in implementing its projects and expanding its activities in the state.

A field visit was also scheduled to both the AGEFAL and SNTR-Transport units in Bechar, to review the progress of activities and services provided. And determine the status of material and human resources. In addition to discussing the concerns raised by the frameworks working in the field.

The visit concluded with a meeting with the Director of Transport for Bashar State, accompanied by the local authorities, who was allocated to establishing a logistical base in the region. The outcome of the visit was also reviewed and the next steps aimed at improving performance and enhancing the field presence of the complex in the region were identified.
