Local authorities are carrying out pre -emptive measures to confront weather fluctuations – New Algeria

Through the various states of the country, the local authorities began implementing a series of proactive measures, in implementation of recommendations Interior Minister Local groups and urban preparation, during the recent national meeting held by visual lecture technology under the supervision of the Prime Minister.

The local committees have begun to hold evaluation meetings aimed at raising the degree of readiness for the fall season, by enhancing coordination between the concerned interests and intensifying preventive efforts at the field level.

Local authorities have activated the process of updating the preventive plans to confront Floods And weather fluctuations, in line with the peculiarities of each region. Field campaigns to clean up sewers, sewage channels, and waterways, especially on the edges of the roads and urban areas at risk of blockage.

Municipal interests continued to follow up the urban hygiene file, by lifting waste daily, and organizing weekly cleaning campaigns, with the participation of cleaning institutions and civil society, which reflects a collective trend towards prevention and reduce risks.

The specialized teams counted the black points and the risk of flooding, and the technical and human measures needed to ensure the speed of intervention, in the event of any sudden climatic disorders recorded.

The states stipulated a state committee to interfere in the emergency, and began to update the escalation scheme for the year 2025, by identifying possible types of disasters, distributing tasks and responsibilities, and harnessing the available human and material capabilities.

These pre -emptive measures included many states, including: Adrar, Chlef, Laghouat, Umm Al -Baqi, Batna, Bejaia, Bashar, Blida, Bouira, Algeria, Jijel, Setif, Saida, Skikda, Sidi Bel Abbas, Annaba, Guelma, Constantine, Mostaghanem, Al -Misila, Al -Bayda, Boumerdes, Al -Tarif, Tissemselt, Tipaza, Mila, Ain Dafli Ostrich, Ain Temouchent, Glizan, Bani Abbas, Ain Saleh and Tuqrat.
