The spokesman explained that the wind speed, which reached noon on Wednesday in some areas of the west of the country, was between 110 and 120 km/h, and is expected to decrease to reach 90 km/h.

He pointed out that most of the western states are currently recording wind gusts ranging between 110 and 120 km/h, especially in the Maghnia region of Tlemcen state, as well as Sidi Bel Abbes state.

In the same context, the same speaker explained that: Strong winds It will gradually join the central states of the country starting this Wednesday evening, where its speed is expected to range between 110 and 120 km/h, especially in coastal and near-coast areas, as well as central areas.

He also pointed out that these winds will reach the eastern states of the country in the coming hours at the same speed, especially in the coastal areas, the eastern high plateaus and the Aures region, starting at 7:00 pm and continuing until 01:00 am tomorrow, Thursday, before they begin to gradually weaken.

Speaking, the head of the weather forecasting department at the Meteorological Bureau confirmed that the wind speed for the central and western states is expected to calm down starting at 21:00 this evening, and to return on Thursday morning at a lower speed that will not exceed 90 km/h.
