To participate, the candidate must hold Algerian citizenship, possess at least a bachelor’s degree in law or an equivalent foreign university degree, enjoy political and civil rights, and not have previously been sentenced to a penalty for acts prejudicial to honor and public morals, in addition to his health and mental condition allowing him to practice the legal profession.

Candidacy files will be submitted during the period from February 15 to March 5, at the level of the faculties of law in Batna 1, Bejaia, Biskra, Blida 2, Tlemcen, Tizi Ouzou, Algeria 1, Setif 2, Sidi Bel Abbes, Annaba, Constantine 1, M’Sila, Ouargla, Oran, and Bordj Bou Arreridj.

Candidates can also deposit their files at the level of open attachments at the faculties of Adrar, Taminghast, Illizi, Béchar, Tindouf, Tiaret, and Ghardaia.

The registration file for the competition includes a written request, a copy of the Bachelor of Laws degree or an equivalent foreign university degree, a copy of the national ID card, a recent photograph, and a receipt for payment of registration fees.

The competition includes written tests for admission to be held on April 11 and 12, in the subjects of civil law, the law of civil procedures or administrative disputes, as well as the subject of the penal code or criminal procedures, and the subject of commercial law, as well as a test in the French or English language.

While the oral test for final acceptance takes place 20 days after the date of announcing the results of the written tests, and it consists of an interview with the committee on general legal culture and the ability to express in one of the previously mentioned subjects.
