Kouidry follows the progress of the Saidal complex projects and its program for 2026 – New Algeria

Today, Thursday, at the headquarters of the General Directorate of the Industrial Complex “Sidal”, Wassim Qouidari, Minister of Pharmaceutical Industry, chaired a working session that brought him together with the complex’s frameworks, devoted to following up on the progress of the major projects being completed, in addition to reviewing the work program drawn up for the year 2026.

During the meeting, the Minister stressed the strategic importance of the “Sidal” complex, especially through the projects that were launched, most notably those related to the production of raw materials,

Minister Qouidari stressed the need to revive these projects and accelerate the pace of their completion, after recording some delays during the recent period, given their pivotal role in promoting self-sufficiency in medicines and ensuring national health security.

In the same context, the Minister of Pharmaceutical Industry issued strict instructions to intensify efforts and overcome all difficulties that hinder the progress of these structural projects.

The Minister also stressed the importance of activating all programmed partnership agreements with international laboratories, within the framework of localizing innovative medicines and transferring technologies, in line with the state’s strategic directions in this field.
