Today, Wednesday, the Prime Minister Nazir Al -Arabawi chaired a meeting of the government to dedicate a study of a number of projects.
According to the first ministry’s statement, the government meeting chaired the Prime Minister, Mr. Nazir Al-Arabawi, today, Wednesday, June 18, 2025, a meeting of the government, devoted to studying an introductory draft of a law that amends and provides Law No. 05-01 of February 6, 2005 related to the prevention of money laundering and terrorist financing and their rewards, which falls within the framework of efforts aimed at adapting to the communication of the national legislative framework with Algeria’s international obligations, Especially with the recommendations of the financial work group, as well as enhance the legal mechanisms to combat these crimes and adapt to the developments you know.
The government also studied a preliminary draft law that amends and provides Law No. 18-07 of June 10, 2018, related to the protection of natural persons in the field of dealing with personalities of a personal nature, with the aim of enhancing guarantees of protecting the rights and freedoms of persons, and adapting the national legal system to relevant international standards, allowing the promotion of international cooperation in the field of prevention of various forms of organized crime and its control.
The government also continued to study the organizational framework, which defines the conditions and modalities of the conversion concession to a concession to the lands of the private property of the country directed to the completion of real estate promotion projects of a commercial nature.
After that, the government listened to a presentation on the initial results of national production counting, which would provide reliable and actual economic data to direct commercial and industrial public policies according to a strategic vision that guarantees controlling the national market, controlling imports and promoting exports.
In the context of pursuing the implementation of the directives of the President of the Republic issued on the occasion of the National Cinema Sessions on 19 and 20 January 2025, the government heard a presentation on the program of rehabilitating the cinema halls and putting them into exploitation, and supporting private investment in this field.
