Isfahan authorities: We did not register any radiological leakage after the bombing is a nuclear site in the province

This came in statements to the deputy governor of Isfahan, which was reported by the official Iranian “Fares” news agency.
The official pointed out that the Israeli attacks included areas affiliated with the directorates of Central, Blessed, and Shahra, in addition to the Isfahan district, noting that the initial reports did not record any human losses due to these attacks.
He also stressed that the Iranian air defense systems confronted the attacks, and that most of the sounds of explosions that heard were caused by the air defense activity, while some of them were associated with the same attacks.
Regarding the nuclear site in Isfahan, which is located 340 km south of the capital, Tehran, the deputy governor assured the citizens that “there has been no leakage of dangerous materials”, calling on the residents to avoid gathering around accident sites to facilitate relief and crisis management operations.
It is noteworthy that these attacks come within the framework of the continuous escalation between Israel and Iran, as Israel is repeatedly targeting Iran’s nuclear and military installations since the 13th of June, while Tehran confirms that its nuclear program is peaceful and responds to any attacks.
