Iran’s Leadership Council of Experts elects the new leader – Algerian Al-Hiwar newspaper

A member of the Council of Experts for Leadership in Iran, Ahmad Alam al-Huda, announced that the council has made its decision and elected the new leader of the revolution, noting that the General Secretariat of the Council will officially announce his name soon.

Alam Al-Huda explained that the constitution prevents any member of the Council from changing his mind after voting, stressing the Council’s commitment to constitutional procedures in choosing the country’s supreme leadership.
