Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said, “Our people deserve thanks and we must put aside our differences and defend our country with full force.” He added: “We have no enmity with the countries of the region, and I apologize to the neighboring countries, and we have no enmity with them.”
He stressed that “the Interim Command Council agreed not to launch attacks on neighboring countries unless an attack on Iran was launched from them,” noting the importance of working with neighboring countries to ensure security and peace.
Pezeshkian continued: “The enemy must know that his dreams about our surrender will not come true. We are committed to international laws and humanitarian principles, and the enemy has no right to ignore our rights.” At the end of his speech, he stressed: “We will stand until our last breath to get our country out of this crisis.”
