Iranian missile strikes push millions of Israelis into shelters – Algerian Al-Hiwar newspaper

Iran intensified its missile bombardment on various Israeli areas since the dawn hours of Sunday, prompting millions of Israelis to take to shelters, according to Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper, while the Israeli ambulance confirmed that 15 people were injured as a result of the stampede.
Haaretz newspaper reported that 5 Iranian missile attacks were recorded, within less than an hour this morning, towards central and southern Israel, and Maariv newspaper also announced that the Israeli air defenses intercepted 3 ballistic missiles.
The Israeli army spokesman announced that sirens were activated in several areas after monitoring missiles launched from Iran, while sirens sounded in the city of Tel Aviv and its environs.
In addition, sirens were sounded again in the Negev and several areas in southern Israel, adding that sirens sounded in Tel Aviv, Ashdod, Ashkelon, and Jerusalem after missiles were detected from Iran.
This comes at a time when the Israeli company El Al announced the removal of all aircraft outside Israel and the complete closure of airspace to civilian navigation.
