The Permanent Iranian Ambassador to international organizations in Geneva, Ali Bahraini, confirmed that Iran has the ability to defend itself until an end to the war is reached, pointing out the necessity of ending the vicious cycle of “violence, then negotiations, then a stop, then a renewed attack.”
Bahraini added in his statements that Iran seeks to break this recurring cycle of escalation and calm, stressing that Tehran is determined to fully protect its interests.
Regarding the statements of US President Donald Trump about “eliminating Iran’s power and capabilities,” Bahraini stressed that these allegations are “based on fabricated lies,” stressing that all of the enemy’s attempts to influence Iran have failed.
He also highlighted Iran’s success in controlling the Strait of Hormuz thanks to the strength and efficiency of its naval forces, which contributed to enhancing its ability to protect its strategic interests.
