Iranian state television announced the implementation of a missile attack targeting the Tel Aviv area using missiles equipped with cluster warheads, in a remarkable escalation that comes, according to the official version, in response to the killing of Ali Larijani.
In an urgent statement, the Iranian Revolutionary Guard confirmed the launch of what it described as “Wave 61” as part of the “True Promise 4” operations, noting that the strike falls within the framework of a response to the killing of Larijani and a number of his companions.
The statement added that the initial toll of the attack, according to field data, exceeded 230 dead and wounded, without independent confirmations of these numbers yet.
