Inventing the first digital health bracelet in Algeria.. Learn about its characteristics!! – New Algeria

A startup company, “ID VITAL,” headed by the young man Omar Adnan, was able to create a health bracelet, which is the first of its kind in Algeria, and in the field of digital health, according to what was reported, Tuesday, by the Consumer Protection Organization.

The innovation is a smart bracelet linked to a secure phone application, which allows quick access to the holder’s medical file in emergency situations, allowing medical teams to intervene immediately and make appropriate decisions in record time.

Omar Adnan, the owner of the innovation, explained, according to what the association reported, that this smart bracelet is directed in its first phase to vulnerable groups, such as patients with chronic diseases, the elderly, and Alzheimer’s patients, in addition to people without shelter, with its use being gradually expanded to include other groups of society, including during major gatherings such as the Hajj season.

This project aims to enhance health safety and improve medical care in critical cases, by saving valuable time for medical teams, while ensuring the confidentiality of health data thanks to an encryption system that allows access to the information exclusively for the treating physician.

The bracelet has many advantages, as it is accompanied by a digital application in three languages: Arabic, French and English, as well as an immediate notification system for the patient’s companions when an emergency occurs, which enhances its effectiveness and ease of use.

On this occasion, the Algerian Organization for Consumer Protection appreciated this innovation, considering it an initiative that falls within the framework of consumer protection, encouraging useful innovation, and improving access to health care.

The launch of this innovation, the first of its kind in Algeria, comes in the context of increasing reliance on digital solutions in the health sector, with the aim of improving the speed and quality of medical care, especially in emergency situations that require immediate access to the patient’s health information.
