International award for the Algerian Algerian Kunduz – New Algeria

The Paralympic champion in para-canoe, Algerian Ibrahim Goundouz, was crowned with the “2025 Excellence Award” granted by the International Paralympic Committee, in recognition of the historic achievement he achieved during the Paris Paralympic Games (2024), according to what the international body reported on its official website.

This award was awarded to the Algerian athlete for the remarkable brilliance he demonstrated in the para-canoe discipline, at the Paris Paralympic Games.

Regarding this coronation, Kunduz, who won the gold medal in the 2024 Paralympic Games, said: a permit It was reported by the international body: “I am very happy and very honored by this coronation. Winning this award does not only represent recognition for myself, but it is also a tribute to Algeria and Africa on the international scene.”

Becoming the first Algerian and African athlete to win Paralympic gold in the para-canoe race is a moment that will remain engraved in memory.”

This international award comes to reinforce the series of crowns achieved by Algerian sports in various competitions, as Kunduz (26 years old) confirmed that: “This honor is not for him alone, but rather it is a tribute to everyone who believed in his abilities. The story begins now and the most beautiful thing is coming, God willing.”

A long track record for Algerian Kunduz

The International Paralympic Committee Excellence Award is awarded every two years. It is an honorary award that does not include a financial reward. It aims to honor actors in the Paralympic sports movement for their outstanding achievements, as is the case with Ibrahim Kunduz.
