Today, Thursday, the Algiers state authorities announced to all citizens that the procedure for closing forest spaces and parks, such as the Salabat Park, the Zoo and Civil Harmony Amusement Park in Ben Aknoun, the Al-Kitani Park, the Water Source Park in Bourouba, and the Eco Park Oued Smar Park, has been extended, provided that the reopening date will be announced later, according to a statement by the same authorities.
The services of the state of Algiers explained that this decision came in accordance with a statement issued by the National Meteorological Office, which reported the continuation of weather fluctuations, with a level two alert in orange, as a result of which heavy rainfall is expected in the state of Algiers, ranging between 20 and 30 mm, and wind speeds ranging between 60/70 km/h, and sometimes reaching or exceeding 80/90 km/h, and this is Thursday night to Friday.
According to the same statement, the same interests also renew their call to all citizens and road users to exercise caution and adhere to safety measures in order to preserve lives and property.
