In pictures.. The Minister of Interior inspects the functioning and readiness of the departments and operational units of the National Security – Al-Hiwar Al-Jazaeryia

The Minister of the Interior, Local Communities and Urban Development, Ibrahim Mourad, accompanied by the Director General of National Security, Farid Ben Cheikh, made, this morning, Saturday, an inspection visit to some of the logistical departments and operational units of the National Security in Algiers.

The program of the visit began with an inspection of projects under construction in the General Headquarters of the Directorate General of National Security in Haidra, then the Regional Department of Finance and Equipment in Bash Jarrah, where he received explanations about its role in logistical and material support for the operational units, in their tasks related to maintaining order and combating crime.

The third stop of the visit was the Central Authority for Combating Illicit Drug Trafficking in Wadi Al-Smar in the capital, where the Minister praised the efforts of this specialized authority SCLTIS, congratulating its executives and elements on the results achieved and the qualitative operations that it carried out recently in an efficient and professional manner, similar to the case of seizing more than one and a half million tablets hallucinogenic, on the eve of Ramadan.

At the end of the visit, the Minister of the Interior and his accompanying delegation went to each of the Air Border Police Service “Houari Boumediene International Airport” and the Maritime Border Police Service in the port of Algiers, where they were briefed on the readiness of the border police teams to receive and escort travelers.

By the way, the Minister of the Interior called for the concerted efforts of all partners, in order to simplify, as much as possible, the procedures at the border crossings level, in order to ensure a public service that lives up to the aspirations of the arrivals to Algeria, especially the members of our expatriate community, pursuant to the instructions of the President of the Republic, in this regard.
