
The sixth edition of the Algerian products exhibition in the Mauritanian capital, Nouakchott, is witnessing a “wide” turnout from the general public as well as Mauritanian economic traders, according to a statement by the Ministry of Trade and Export Promotion reported today, Saturday.
The Ministry explained in its statement that the activities of the exhibition, which continues on its third day in a row, “record a wide turnout, especially by economic traders who came with the aim of concluding commercial contracts, in various fields such as construction and public works, pharmaceutical industries, cosmetics, food industries, and services such as international transportation.”
The Mauritanian economic dealers had bilateral business meetings with their counterparts from the Algerian exhibitors, the statement adds.
The exhibition also witnessed “a great turnout from Mauritanian families who came to learn about and acquire Algerian products,” according to the same source.
It is noteworthy that the sixth edition of the Algerian Products Exhibition in Nouakchott takes place with the participation of 183 exhibitors from various economic sectors and falls within the framework of embodying Algeria’s program of economic demonstrations abroad.
The demonstration, which opened last Thursday and will continue until next Tuesday, is considered the result of efforts made between the authorities of the two countries to enhance economic cooperation and highlight the diverse Algerian products and capabilities.
