The beaches of Algeria open its arms to receive vacationers

The Minister of Interior, Local Communities and Urban Planning, Ibrahim Murad, supervised a ministerial delegation, on Saturday, to give the official reference to the launch of the 2025 summer season from Annaba and the season with the slogan “Our summer for and safe”, revealing the allocation of more than 7 billion dinars to prepare and rehabilitate the shores of Algeria.

According to a statement by the ministry, the Minister was accompanied by the Minister of Tourism and Traditional Industry, Houria Madahi, the Minister of Irrigation, Taha Derbal, and the state writer to the Minister of Foreign Affairs in charge of the national community abroad, Sufyan Shaib.

In a speech to him, by the way, Maramad revealed that the authorities allocated more than 7 billion dinars to ensure operations to prepare and rehabilitate beach spaces, stressing that an increase in the financial covers allocated to this file, which exceeded 68 percent compared to the last season.

The Minister of the Interior said, “The summer season was launched from Annaba and in parallel across all the states of the country, and we work to be at the level of the aspirations of the citizens.” He pointed out that the National Committee to prepare and follow up the progress of the summer season has worked to provide the optimal conditions for his path, and improve the conditions of receiving vacationers, indicating that the governors of the Republic were instructed to mobilize all the capabilities and human, material and financial means, to ensure the new preparation for this important event.

The preparation for the summer season, according to what the Minister of Interior emphasized, included many aspects by creating the public spaces frequented by vacationers, and ensuring the readiness of all tourism and service facilities, in addition to the processes of creating and equipping the beaches allowed to swim, as well as ensuring the continuity of public services and adapting their plans with the requirements of this season.

The minister affirmed his keenness to enhance the field supervision and daily follow -up by all the interlocutors to ensure commitment to the principle of free entry to the beaches, while taking deterrent measures against the violators, and eliminating any aspects of illegal exploitation of them or any attempt to prejudice the comfort and reassurance of vacationers, as he highlighted that he will not hesitate to take the necessary thunderstorm measures stipulated legally against the violators.

He also revealed that 461 beaches were opened in front of the vacationers, which are distributed over 119 beach municipalities across the coastal 14 states, including 13 new beaches, adding that the security services of the gendarmerie and the police, as well as the civil protection services, set their relevant operational plans, by confronting various types of threats and risks.

In the interest of the actual and field embodiment of the obligations and decisions of the President of the Republic, Abdul Majeed Taboun, related to providing bridges of communication with members of the national community residing abroad, the minister announced that the work will be extended with facilitating measures and expanded them to reduce procedures at the level of all border, sea and land crossings and improve the level of services.

On this occasion, Minister Merrad, accompanied by the Minister of Tourism and Traditional Industry, Houria Madahi, the Minister of Irrigation, Taha Derbal, and the state writer to the Minister of Foreign Affairs in charge of the National Community Abroad, Sufyan Shaib, inspected the entry into service of a number of development projects with a direct impact on the citizen.

In the context, the minister also made an inspection visit to the marine station of the state of Annaba, to determine the conditions of receiving members of the Algerian community coming to spend their summer vacation in Algeria, where various facilities and structures of the marine station were inspected and access to the extent of their readiness, in addition to assessing the methods that mourned to ensure reception in the best conditions.

By the way, the recent instructions of the President of the Republic were reminded of the necessity of providing all facilities for the people of the Algerian community, as well as good reception of foreign tourists.

For his part, the governor of the state emphasized the commitment to the success of the summer season by all standards, in which the local authorities are keen to provide all conditions of comfort and safety, attractive tourism ingredients and the clean environment, and the atmosphere of entertainment that undoubtedly satisfies visitors and befit the place of Annaba, the bride of the Algerian East.

In the context of evaluating the preparations for the summer season 2025, Bahr last week began tires from the Ministry of Interior with representatives of the relevant ministerial sectors, in conducting field visits to a number of coastal states to inspect the readiness of the beaches allowed to swim to receive vacationers, and to determine the implementation of the organizational and practical measures taken.

These visits come within the framework of the public authorities ’keenness to implement various legal procedures framework for the summer season, especially Law No. 03-02 that defines the general rules of tourism use and exploitation of beaches, as well as the executive decrees of the conditions of opening and preventing beaches for swimming, as well as the joint ministerial instruction dated May 5, 2025 for organizing the processes of granting the concession of tourism exploitation of the beaches for the season The summer of 2025.

These inspection tasks also fall within the framework of implementing the instructions of Minister Merrad, dated in the last three years, mainly related to preparing for the summer season and following up his course, especially the part related to the coastal states.

The field teams in charge of inspection focused on several basic axes, most notably: creating beaches with health equipment, securing them with security centers, linking them to public lighting networks, cleansing and water, in addition to ensuring that the beach disposer is found Any recorded deficiencies or imbalances, and demanding them to correct them in coordination with the various concerned authorities.
