Instructions to accelerate the pace of completion of the complementary development program for Djelfa

On Wednesday, the Minister of the Interior, Local Communities and Transport, Said Saioud, gave instructions to accelerate the completion of the supplementary development program for the state of Djelfa.
During the evaluation meeting to embody the supplementary development program for the state of Djelfa, which was supervised by Saioud, a presentation was made of the state’s development indicators, followed by a detailed study of the overall operations included in this development program within the various governorates registered in its title.
The interim outcome led to the recording of “405 launched operations, out of a total of 435 operations, across all municipalities of the state without exception,” in which “129 completed operations and 276 operations being completed were monitored.”
In parallel, “597 neighborhood development processes were monitored, entitled the program to support the social and economic development of municipalities.”
In his comment on the interim outcome presented by the governor of Djelfa state and the frameworks accompanying him, the minister mentioned the importance of the program approved by the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, for the benefit of the citizens of the state of Djelfa, noting the significant financial cover allocated for development recovery, improving the citizen’s living framework and promoting economic mobility in the state.
He also praised the effort made at the local level, calling for “the necessity of raising the pace and intensifying the work, in order to strengthen the social and economic effects desired from this program,” the same source continues.
After reviewing the progress of various operations related to the supplementary development program, Saeed issued instructions to “redress the delay recorded in launching some operations and work to address the outstanding procedural issues, in coordination with the relevant sectors, as well as ensuring the urgent closure of completed operations and accelerating the pace of ongoing operations.”
He also stressed the “completion of the external preparation works for the various completed projects, in accordance with quality standards, especially those related to educational, health, sports and youth-oriented structures, with the aim of valuing the facilities and improving the general urban aspect.”
In the same context, the Minister stressed “the necessity of making progress in completing irrigation and public works projects, while ensuring that they enter service at the best possible time, to achieve the expected impact of the important financial envelopes allocated to these two vital axes for the citizen, while intensifying field follow-up by program officials at the local level regarding the progress of the workshops and completion standards.”
In the same context, he stressed “complementing and valuing the effort made within the development program, by paying special attention to urban preparation and improvement, cleanliness of the surroundings, and public lighting, as well as the dissemination of green spaces, as a priority that guarantees a decent living framework for the citizen, in addition to activating the role of relevant local institutions and increasing the effectiveness of their performance.”
The Minister also gave directives aimed at “programming a visit to inspect the material progress of projects across the state’s municipalities and inspect the pace of work at the level of the two administrative provinces of Ain, Sarah, and Massad, by a central committee, with an inspection visit to the state,” according to the same statement.
