In defiance of the bombing…senior Iranian officials in the heart of the Quds Day crowds in Tehran – Algerian Al-Hiwar newspaper

A number of senior Iranian officials led “Jerusalem Day” marches in the streets of the capital, Tehran, on Friday, despite the bombing that targeted several areas in the city, in a scene that carried clear messages of challenge amid the ongoing military escalation.

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi, Secretary of the National Security Council Ali Larijani, along with the head of the judiciary, Gholam Hossein Mohseni Ejei, and Internal Security Official Ahmad Reza Radan, appeared in the marches, walking among the crowds participating in the events.

This appearance came amid thousands of demonstrators who gathered in the streets of Tehran to commemorate “Jerusalem Day,” despite the strikes that targeted sites inside the capital during the past hours.

The scenes showed officials participating in the marches and mingling with citizens, while the demonstrators continued their chants denouncing Israel, stressing that the activities would continue despite the bombing and escalation.
