Important statement for beneficiaries of a grant or retirement pension – New Algeria

Today, Wednesday, the National Retirement Fund called on all beneficiaries of a grant or retirement pension, who were born during the month of January, to renew their identification documents during the month of January 2026, to ensure the continuity of the disbursement of pensions and grants without interruption.
The Fund explained, in a statement, that the document renewal process can be completed remotely and without the need to travel to local agencies, by using the “Retraite Dz” mobile phone application.
In the same context, the statement indicated that renewal procedures differ according to the type of retirement, as beneficiaries of direct retirement are required to use the facial recognition feature (R-Face) to confirm that the retiree is alive.
While beneficiaries of the transferred retirement must confirm their identity via the facial recognition feature, in addition to scanning the required documents according to each case, and uploading them directly through the application.
On the same level, the National Retirement Fund confirmed that the beneficiary receives, after the successful completion of the renewal process, a notification via the “Retirement” application confirming the renewal of the documents remotely, ensuring the continuation of disbursement of the grant or pension without any interruption.
The Fund also stated that the document renewal system is approved once a year, according to the month of birth of each retiree, within the framework of improving the quality of services and simplifying administrative procedures, calling on those concerned to download the “My Retirement” application and benefit from its digital services with ease.
